ANTLER, Norman Albert (WWII Veteran) Passed away suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, February 26, 2010 in his 90th year. Norman Antler of Pembroke, husband of the late Ethel Antler (nee Zadow). Dear father of Pauline Gervais (Michael), Pembroke; Brian Antler (Susan), Summerland, B.C.; and Trudy Park, Pembroke. Grandfather of Ben (Andrea) & Nathan (Katey) Gervais, and Mitchell & Kristen Park. Great-grandfather of Jude Gervais. Brother of Doris Joudwa (late Maurice), Belleville; Garnet Antler (Madeline); Melba Hawkins (late Willis); Myrna Pilatzke (Mel); and Dwyla Doran (late Warren), all of Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd & Harvey Antler and sisters Rhoda Antler, Ellen Kierstead (late Russell), Lois Gilbert (late George), and Lillian Schwan (late Donald). Survived by sister-in-law Viola Antler, Pembroke. Son of the late Carl and Ida Antler (nee Kuehl). Also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as a wide circle of friends. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday from 7 to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be in Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
