MAVES, NORBERT DOUGLAS Passed away suddenly in hospital, Pembroke on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Norbert Maves of RR #1 Pembroke dearly loved husband of Jean Maves (nee Ryan). Dear father of Douglas Maves (wife Fiona), Kelowna, BC; Susan DeHaan, Pembroke; Grant Maves (wife Kimberly), Pickering; Nancy Carswell (husband Alan), Shellbrook, SK; and Lorna Maves, Ottawa. Grampy to Sheldon, Krysta, Alanna, Shannon, Amber, Andrew, Acey and Matthew; and Papa to Jayson and Kienan. Son of the late Henry and Gertrude Maves (nee Guenther). Brother of Anita Ruhnke (husband Earl), Deep River. Predeceased by brother Donald Maves; and sister Doris Dixon (husband late Fred). Norbert will be missed by his brothers & sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Respecting Norbert's wishes, his body has been donated to Medical Science. Memorial Visitation will be held in the MALCOLM DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm; and Monday from 12-2:00 pm. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Monday at 2:00 pm.
