WARMERDAM, Nathalie Simone - Our beautiful and caring daughter, mother and friend, was wrenched from our lives suddenly on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 leaving a big hole in our hearts and in the community. Her passion was nursing and caring for people, which she did as a home care nurse, and previously working at the Hospice Renfrew. She was also known in the community through volunteering at the Eganville library and COPKA. She was raised in Renfrew county and returned to raise her children here.
Left behind are her loving parents Frank Hopkins (husband of Jeanne) and Maz Tracey (wife of Mark), her children Adrian and Valerie, their father Frank Warmerdam, her partner Barry, her brother Josh Hopkins and his mother Dale, and a plethora of extended family and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration in honour of Nathalie's life will be held at The Petawawa Golf Club, 3 Festubert Blvd, Petawawa on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a time of sharing and toasting memories.
In lieu of flowers Nathalie would have liked donations to the OSPCA, the Women's Sexual Assault Centre. Online condolences/donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
