POPKEY, Myrtle Ida Adela - passed away at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Monday, March 28, 2016 in her 93rd year. Myrtle Popkey (nee Roesler) of Pembroke, wife of the late Kenneth Popkey. Dear mother of Violet Panke (Harold), Pembroke. Grandmother of Mark, Stephanie (Edwin Hynes), Dean, Pam, Rickey (Janice Berger) & Derek (Suzanne Prange) Panke. Great-grandmother of Wesley & Caitlyn; Jennifer & Daniel; Tina & Kayla; Jonathan, Christopher & Justin; and Jessica & Megan; as well as 7 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by great-grandson Donelle. Sister of Verner Roesler (late Margaret); and predeceased by 3 sisters & 6 brothers. Daughter of the late Edward & Martha Roesler (nee Miller). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
