LANTHIER, Myrtle – it is with great sadness that the family of Myrtle Ella Lanthier (nee Dayment), born December 23, 1938, announces her passing at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
Myrtle, daughter of the late Reinhold Dayment and the late Ella Lange. Myrtle was a devoted and loving mother of Debra Dament (Brian); David Lanthier (Karen); Dale Harrie (Wayne); Donna Lanthier; the late Darrell, the late Dwayne and the late Denise Lanthier. Lovingly remembered and treasured Gramma of 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Cherished sister of Heather St. Cyr (Rene) and Barbara Dayment. Myrtle sadly grieved the loss of her former husband Harvey Lanthier; brothers David & Cecil Dayment (Donna) and sister-in-law Gayle Dayment. She will forever be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A private family visitation will be held. A public visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID-19 SET FORTH BY THE BEREAVEMENT AUTHORITY OF ONTARIO, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED AT VISITATION. A private family Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. The public is invited to share in this service online after June 13.
