Myrtle Alma Gust

Myrtle Alma Gust (née Zoschke) - Passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke, on October 7, 2024, at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late Elmer Gust and dearly loved mother of Sandra Gust Docken (Peter), Judy Tomlinson (Elvin), Wilma Gust (Ian), Janice Gust (Chris), and Donna Duffin (Shaun). Much-loved "Grandma Myrt" to Sara (Trevor), Eban (Aviva), Levi (Amanda), Joshua (Amber), Caitlin (Shane), Caleigh (Daniel), Brennan (Maryam), Aidan (Madi), Colin (Liv), Justine (Nick), Brielle (Greg), Catherine (Jake), Madelyn (Anthony), and thirteen precious great-grandchildren. Sister of Frieda Biesenthal (late Vic) and sister-in-law of Idella Zoschke (late Gordon). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Daughter of the late Reinhold and Hilda Zoschke (née Kielman). Predeceased by siblings: Arthur, Lorne, Gordon, Esther, Alfred, Elsie, Verner, and Andy.

A funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville, on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Eganville. After the interment, fellowship & refreshments will be held at the Echo Centre, 30 Bell Street, Eganville, Ont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville, Ont., Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke, Ont., or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
