Myrtle Foreman

Foreman, Myrtle Grace (Mikki) (Life member of the Alexandra Club, 40 year member of the Canadian Cancer Society, Pembroke Branch, and recipient of the Queens Golden Jubilee Medal) - peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Sunday, February 18th, 2007. Mikki Foreman (nee Garvin) of 284 Dickson Street, Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Basil G. Foreman M.B.E.. Dearly loved mother of Nancy Sidler (husband Larry), Peterborough; and Michael Foreman (wife Margaret), Victoria, B.C. Proud and much loved grandmother of Peter and Mark (both teaching in Korea); and Jenny (studying in B.C.). Daughter of the late Francis and Lydia Garvin (nee Gallichan). Sister of Leonard B. Garvin (wife Helen), Cornwall, Ontario; and the late Edith Garvin Couture. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
