SCHIMMENS, Murray Edwin Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 29, 2007, in his 71st year. Murray Schimmens, of Pembroke, loving husband of Susan Schimmens (nee Lehman). Loving father of Wendy Miller (John), Kingston; and Chris Schimmens (Angie), Pembroke. Predeceased by son Mark. Loving grandfather of Jared, Jacob, Kaila, Emily, and Jesse. Dear brother of Grace Barker (late Vern), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Harry and Mervin and sisters Alice, Margaret, Rebecca, Ruby, and Jean. Son of the late Simon and Sophia Schimmens (nee Maves). Survived by brother-in-law Sam Krantz and sister-in-law Mary Schimmens as well as many nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke, on Thursday, October 4, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by the MALCOLM, DEAVITT, & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, Pembroke.
