Murl Stevens

STEVENS, Murl Robert Passed away at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Nov. 13th, 2013 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Eunice (nee Heggart) for 68 years. Dear father of Mark (Janice) and Robert (Nancy) Stevens. Predeceased by his daughter Peggy McGonegal (Dave), parents Robert & Eva Stevens, brothers William, Jack & Millard; and sisters Audrey, Lois, Margaret, Bessie & May. Sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brothers Paul & Frank and sisters Isabell, Edna & Pauline. Murl was a veteran of WWII, serving as a scout with the South Saskatchewan Regiment. A special thank you to all of the nurses and Dr. Baxter for their kind care. Friends may call at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, Nov. 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Members of the RCL #72 are asked to meet at the funeral home for a 7:30pm memorial service. Funeral Service from the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment Calvin United Cemetery.
