BOURNE, Muriel Routh - it is with great sadness that the family of Muriel Bourne announce her passing at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Muriel Bourne (nee Buttars) of Pembroke, wife of the late Gordon Bourne. Dear mother of Nancy Higgins (Randy), Sacramento CA; and the late William Bourne. Sister of Mary Lou Stoddard (late Sam), Pembroke; and predeceased by sister Bernice Levoy (late Allan). Daughter of the late Willaim and Almira Buttars (nee Routh). Also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great friend Kathy Videto. Respecting Muriel's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held in Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment of Ashes in Calvin United Cemetery.
