RECKZIN, Minnie Rose Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the age of 96 years. Minnie Reckzin (nee Kruschenske) resident of Pinewood Retirement Home, Pembroke and formerly of Willard St., wife of the late Otto Reckzin. Predeceased by daughter Bernice Adams (husband late Herbert). Gramma to Kimberley Adams (Ron Hoffman), Pembroke. Predeceased by grandson Larry Biesenthal. Great-Gramma to Christine Meliton (husband Eric), Richard Adams (Amanda), Andrea Adams (Jonathan); and Great-Great-Gramma to Julia & Matthew. Daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Kruschenske (nee Gahr). Sister of Hilda Schwantz, Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Bill, Henry, Herb, David, Ferdinand, John, Lorne and infant brothers August & Otto Kruschenske; sisters Annie Hammel, Mary Nieman and Lillian Silke. Resting at the MALCOLM DEAVITT & BINHAMMER Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, September 18th from 2-4 & 7-9:00 pm and Friday from 10-11:30 am. Funeral Service in St John's Lutheran Church on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in St John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
