MELCHER, Michael W. Passed away at Marianhill on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the age of 52 years. Mike Melcher of Pembroke, beloved husband of Shelley Melcher (nee Hebert). Dearly loved father to Andrew Melcher (Alison O'Connor), Carleton Place and Kristy Melcher (Nathan Benkhe), Pembroke. Loving Poppa to Jaylan. Brother of Stephen Melcher (Theresa), Portland; Paul Melcher (Leslie), Sharbot Lake; James Melcher, Ottawa; and Karen Melcher (Mike), Pembroke. Predeceased by brother David Melcher. Son of Bill Melcher (Ronalie) and the late Geraldine Melcher (nee MacDonald). Brother-in-law to Darlene Cliche (Ray), Pembroke; Terry Hebert (Janis), Pembroke; and Grant Hebert (Dianne), Pembroke. Son-in-law of Dorothy Hebert and the late Wilfred Hebert. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 12-2:00 p.m. Prayers of Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery.
