Michael was cherished by so many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and their families, as well as many great friends. He was a familiar face in Pembroke, Deep River, Eganville, Golden Lake, and everywhere in between. Everywhere he went, Michael brought stories to life, whether spinning tales of adventure, recounting a humorous encounter, or weaving heartfelt moments into conversations, he had an uncanny ability to connect with people. Strangers quickly became friends, drawn to his warmth and the way his stories seemed to make the world a little brighter.
Michael was a passionate outdoorsman with a keen eye for the beauty of nature. Armed with his trusty walking stick and camera, he spent countless hours exploring the outdoors, seeking the perfect shot of wildlife in their natural habitats. Whether capturing the grace of a soaring eagle or the quiet stillness of a deer at dawn, Michael found joy and inspiration in every bit of the outdoors. He and his photographs told stories of the wild, reflecting his deep respect for the natural world and his love for adventure.
Michael loved to surround himself with people he loved and share memories, in this honour, friends and family will be invited to a Memorial Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke and a Memorial Service at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 307 Julien Street, Pembroke in the spring. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario SPCA, Marianhill Hospice, or St. Luke's Anglican Church, would be appreciated.
