Mernie Hannah

Hannah, Mernie (Merniece) Omar – suddenly passed away at his home on Friday, August 10, 2018 in his 77th year. 

Mernie Hannah of Pembroke, beloved husband of Dianne Hannah (nee Watt).  Father of Janey McClure (Rob) and the late Jody Hannah.  Papa to Hillary; and Larissa, Sheyanne (Chadwick) & Mernie Jr. Son of the late Jay & Marcella Hannah (nee Easton).  Brother of the late Denis Hannah; Shirley Whyte (Gordon), Tweed; Dawnie Hannah (Dorothy), Barry’s Bay; Dale Hannah (Cheryl), Barrie; Gloria White (Ernie), Bancroft; Bill Hannah (Rita), Barry’s Bay; and Royce Hannah, Bolter.  Brother-in-law of Keith Watt (Carolyn), Pembroke and Lawrence Watt (Pauline), Petawawa. 

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 1-2:45 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.  Interment of ashes in Calvin United Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Association, Calvin United Church or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
