Merissa Lynn Callahan

CALLAHAN, Merissa Lynn – passed away unexpectedly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 14 years.

Merissa Callahan of Pembroke, and formerly of Timmins, precious daughter of Derrick Callahan and the late Tanya Orth; and beloved sister of Kentessa Pearce.  Cherished granddaughter of Rachel & the late Norm Callahan; and Doug & Debbie Orth (nee Zurbrigg).  Dear niece of Shawn Callahan (Janet), Shelley Callahan-Allen (Wayne), Adam Orth (Melissa), Mandy Orth & Jason Mercier; and cousin of Emma, Michaela & Jade; Owen & Andrew; and Quinton.  Also survived by many loving friends and extended family.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Columbkille Cathedral, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Service will be held at Kirkland Lake Cemetery on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Merissa Callahan to the SPCA would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
