STENCILL, Melvin - passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, surrounded by his family on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Melvin Stencill of Petawawa, husband of the late Rita Stencill (nee Paquette). Dear father of Virginia, Randy (Iris), Doug (late Maria) & Christine. Beloved grandfather of Tanya, Suzianne, Melissa, Tommy, Jennifer & Jonathan; and great-grandfather of Chelsea, Awstin, Noah & Bella. Brother of Hazel Born; and predeceased by brothers Lorny, Verner, Darcy, Wilbert, Norman, Wesley, Ernie, Garnet & Maitland; and by sisters Esther, Berndena & Minerva. Son of the late Herman & Joanna Stencill (nee Michaelis). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Alice on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.)
