HEIN, Melvin "Mel" F. Peacefully in the Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, March 20th, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Mel Hein of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Erna Hein (nee Schultze). Dearly loved father of Dennis Hein, Rochester, N.Y.; and Gordon Hein (wife Sue), Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by son Rodney Hein (wife Denise), Devon, Alberta. Grandfather of Graham (wife Mirsada), Rebecca, Jennifer, Daniel and Nicole, Meagan and Alyson. Great-grandfather of Julie and Adrian. Son of the late Albert and Martha Hein (nee Sack). Predeceased by brothers Ralph Hein (wife Leona), Pembroke; Harold Hein; and sister Glenora Meyers (husband late Walter). Survived by nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday April 9th from 6:30 to 9:00p.m. Service in St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Tuesday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
