Melda Muriel Boucher

BOUCHER, Melda Muriel – Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the age of 94 years.

Melda Boucher (nee Laporte) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Aurel Jules Boucher.  Loving mother of Sharon Harker (Ken), Jill Boucher (Mike Curley), Shauna Anderson (Wayne) and Trevor Boucher (Shell).  Cherished grandmother of Sebastian Boucher (Stephanie), Adrian Boucher, Jesse Wagner (Breanne White), and Hunter Anderson (Keirston Davidson) and great-grandmother of Bennett, Theo and Emerson Boucher.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Carmel Cameron (late Raymond) and Claire Farrell.  Predeceased by parents Charles and Emma Laporte (nee Lapratte) and sister Noella Reddit and brothers Raymond and Russel Laporte.  

Respecting Melda’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private graveside service with the ashes will take place at a later date at St. Columba’s Cemetery.   As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society appreciated.
