Mary TAYLOR

TAYLOR, Mary Cherished Mother Surrounded by family, Mary Martha Taylor (nee Korzinski), wife of the late Edwin Stanley Taylor, passed on peacefully to Heaven at the age of 84 on March 17, 2006. Her presence will be deeply missed by daughter Grace Call (Peter), grandsons Michael and Adam, son Keith (Nancy), son Douglas, granddaughter Heather, son Fred (Norman Gardner) and Whiskers, Mary's feline companion. Mary will be remembered for her caring, energetic and fun-loving spirit and her many passions: curling, golf, gardening, Bingo and Yahtzee. She died as she lived - with a wonderful sense of humour and by putting others first. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent quality of care that Mary received at Medical Day Care, Lorrain Wing, Pembroke Regional Hospital and the Ottawa Civic Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Linda Lacroix (Hematologist) and to blood donors who gave quality of life to Mary in her last year. Friends may pay their respects at a Service of Memory and Celebration for the Life of Mary Taylor on Thursday, March 23, 2 p.m. at St. George's Protestant Chapel, CFB Petawawa.
