LAMONT, Mary Logan (Born in Ballantrae, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1955) Passed away peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Mary Lamont (nee Dean), formerly of Petawawa, dearly loved wife of the late William Lamont. Dear mother of Christine Rowan (husband Garry), Petawawa. Predeceased by daughter Margaret Aubrey (husband late Jack). Loving nannie to Heather Holt (husband Tobin), Calgary; Michael Lamont (Lorna), Edinburgh, Scotland; Tricia Allard (Ron Cairns), Calgary; Deryck Aubrey, Edinburgh, Scotland;and Andrew Aubrey, Pembroke. Great grandmother to Kate Holt. Daughter of the late John and Margaret Dean (nee Logan) of Scotland. Sister of Jean Hamilton (husband Tom), Leven, Scotland. Predeceased by sister Margaret Doolan (husband late Jim). Sister-in-law to May Gailey (husband David), Brockville. Christine would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the staff of 1A, Miramichi Lodge for their professional and compassionate care and support. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held in the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday, October 21st from 2 to 6 p.m. Service in First Presbyterian Church, 257 Pembroke St. W. on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvin United/First Presbyterian Cemetery, Pembroke.
