KARAU, Mary Elizabeth Peacefully in the Marguerite Center, Pembroke on Friday, March 18th, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Mary Karau (nee Prange) of 200 Chamberlain St, Pembroke dearly loved wife of the late Henry Karau. Dear mother of Judith Stephenson (husband Thomas), Pembroke; Jayne Forward (husband William), North Gower; John Karau (wife Merelie), Ottawa; and Jeffrey Karau (wife Joanne), Ottawa. Gran to Jon Stephenson (wife Candice), Deep River; Jennifer Stott (husband Cam), Wasaga Beach; Allison Staples (husband Dennis), Smith Falls; Andrew Forward (wife Ayana), Ottawa; Holden Karau, San Francisco; Colin & Spencer Karau, Ottawa. Great-Gran to Jorja, Chyna, Piper, Colton, Brynne, Clark & Hayden. Daughter of the late Christian and Dorothea Prange (nee Steyer). Predeceased by family members Edna Lou Stansbury; Christine Reiche; Erwin Prange; and Ella Neuhaus (husband late Rev. Clem). Special thanks to all the staff at the Marguerite Centre.
