Fabian, Mary Isabel (WW II Veteran - Women's Auxiliary Air Force) Mary Fabian (nee Crook) of Pembroke, beloved war bride (1945) of the late Roy Fabian (2011). Beloved daughter of the late Colin Campbell & Mary Crook (nee Richardson) and daughter-in-law of the late Christie & Frances Fabian. Missed and dearly loved by her children: Marlyn Carr (Doug), Sandra Drohan (John) and Brenda (Brian), Colin (Cindy), Glen & Terry Fabian. Predeceased by son Gordon (1977). Loving and giving grandmother of Joanne (Monica), Shelley & Steven (Hong Mei) Carr; Lori Borutski (Arthur); Jeffrey Fabian (Jaclyn); Amanda Bellamy (Jon) & Eric Fabian; and Christopher (Maria), Jennifer (Sheldon), Kristen (Malcolm), Kayla (Jake) & Nathan Fabian. Great-grandmother of 13. Loving sister of William Crook (Joan) and predeceased by brothers Colin (late Kathleen) and Roland (late Edith). Sister-in-law of Ardella Begley (late Roy), Harriet Nicholas (late Jerry), Ernest Fabian (Joan, late Keitha), Doreen Nicholas (late Roy), Barbara McMillan (William Sumers, late Howard), Shirley Peckford (Bert), Dianne Fabian, Marian Dennison (late Robert), Edward Fabian (Betty), and Carson Fabian. Respecting Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12-1:45 p.m. Memorial Service to be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment of ashes in Calvin United Cemetery, Pembroke.
