THOM, Marjorie R. Passed away peacefully in Marianhill on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Marjorie Thom (nee Markus) of Pembroke and formerly of Petawawa wife of the late Wilfred Thom. Dearly loved mother of Marlene Dagg, Calgary, AB; and Linda Molloy (husband Herb), Petawawa. Grandmother of Ron Dagg (Pat); Mike Dagg (Gayle); Dawne Fraser; Heather Sandney; Bruce Molloy; Gail Balfour (John); and Paula Molloy. Great-grandmother of J.J.; Kali; Meaghan; Stephen; Bradley; Sabrina; Nicole & Samantha. Dear sister to Beatrice Sullivan (late husband Melvin), North Bay; Hamor Markus (wife Bev), Cobden; and Eva Denomme (husband Bill), Pembroke. Predeceased by infant sister Myrtle and Lillian Smith. Daughter of the late Lewis & Rosella Markus (nee Schimmens). Special cousin of Alma Cybulskie. Survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Funeral Service will be held in Zion Evangelical United Church on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment in Zion Evangelical United Cemetery.
