Marjorie Ranger (nee Miller), of Pembroke, passed away at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014, in her 88th year.
Loving wife of the late Hector. Beloved mother of Joy (Guy) Thaller and Mark (Heather) Ranger. Dear grandmother of Katelyn and Dylan Thaller and Jacob and Ben Ranger. Predeceased by her siblings Gertrude Charette and Harold Miller.
Marjorie grew up in North Bay, later moving to Ottawa, then Pembroke. Marjorie worked for Bell Canada and in later years enjoyed the retired Bell Group. She was a lifetime member of the United Church, dedicating her time and energy where she could. Marjorie led a full life and took pride in the accomplishments of her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed many years of visits at her cottage on Trout Lake. A special thank you to Dr. Laliberte who provided Marjorie with the dignity and special care during her final hours.
Friends may call at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, Oct. 16th from 1-3 pm. Memorial Service to follow at 3 pm in the Chapel. Inurnment Wesley United Cemetery.
