RAGLIN, Marilyn Ann - passed away peacefully at her home, with loving daughters by her side on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in her 85th year. “There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains.” – Unknown Marilyn Raglin (nee Weisenberg) of Pembroke, wife of the late Robert Raglin.  Mother of Connie Young (Brad), Melissa Ziebarth (Paul) and Patricia Weisenberg (Ken), all of Pembroke.  Grandma to Billy, Chad (Ona) & Derek (Ashley) Young; Karly, Madison & Payton Ziebarth; and Brayden Weisenberg.  Great-grandmother of Kinsley Young; Dylan Young; and Patrick & Matthew Benoliel.  Daughter of the late Edgar & Gertrude Weisenberg (nee Gilbert).  Sister of Beverly Edwards (late Mel), Heather Darnley, Judy Prescott (Gary), Wendy Hein (Gilbert), David Weisenberg (late Donna) and Brian Weisenberg (Diane).  Predeceased by brothers Carl Weisenberg (late Anne) & Leslie Weisenberg (Annie) and by sisters Gail Paul (late Bill) & Dianne Leith (Donald). Sister in-law of Lloyd Raglin (Evelyn).  Marilyn will be fondly remembered by many extended family members & friends.   The family would like to thank Dr. Serge Laliberte, Dr. John Davies, Dr. Scott Murray, Pastor Williams, Erin McCabe, and Marilyn Higgins and all of the Bayshore PSWs for your kindness and compassion and excellent medical care during her brief illness.

An extra special thanks to Brad Young for making sure she had her meals, Loretta Young for being by her side, and Nurse Erin VanHoof from Bayshore for helping guide her on her journey. We would also like to thank everyone for their many visits, telephone calls, and prayers.

Marilyn loved a good cup of coffee and great conversation; it was always guaranteed that there would also be lots of laughter. She always had an open-door policy and enjoyed when her grandchildren/great-grandchildren stopped by for visits. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church (Locksley) where she attended service, helped with Braille and was a member of the Grace Ladies Aid.

We will always miss you but we have so many wonderful memories of you, we will always think of you with a smile.

Respecting Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Marilyn’s life was held at Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment of ashes will be held in the parish cemetery on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. . Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
