SAAR, Marie (Employee of Loblaws Pembroke for 32 years) Passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the age of 84 years. Marie Saar of Shady Nook, daughter of the late Arnold & Louise Saar (nee Sack). Sister of Arthur Saar (Lillian), Ottawa & Vern Saar (late Joan), Pembroke. Predeceased by brother Ted Saar. Survived by sister-in-law Mae Saar and predeceased by sister-in-law Marion Saar. Loving aunt of Susan (Carlos); Nancy (Peter); Cathy (Brent); Judy (Rick); Jane; Michael (Heather); Marlene; & Paula (Phillip). Loving great aunt to 10 great-nieces & nephews. Marie will be missed by her friends Laverne, Martin & Shannon Burger. Marie spent many years as a counsellor for the Walther League at Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, January 5th from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday January 6th from 10-11:00 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Thursday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Locksley.
