RAWLINS, Margaret Elizabeth (1921-2011) Peacefully after a short stay at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on July 11, 2011. Cherished daughter of the late George Matthew and Mary Jane Rawlins, beloved sister of Mary Gwendolyn Marchant (deceased 2010) and brother-in-law, Dr. Peter Marchant (deceased), devoted special Aunt of Peter Marchant (Sheila), Margaret Ann Whitten (Rev. Francis), Elizabeth Cowling (John) and by her loving great nieces, nephews and extended families. Margaret made the decision last year to return to Pembroke after twenty-eight years in Toronto, and made her home at Riverview Heights which allowed her to enjoy her life-long friendships in Pembroke again. The family would like to thank all the staff at Riverview Heights for their wonderful care, kindness and loving attention that they provided Margaret during her residency. A service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 68 Renfrew Street in Pembroke on Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m., prior to which the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to time of service at the church. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery on James Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Pembroke or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
