MAU, Margaret Lillian Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at her home surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, July 19th, 2008 in her 73rd year. Margaret Mau (nee Boudens) of 601 Miller Street, Pembroke, dearly loved wife of Melvin Mau. Margaret's strength and courage, love and compassion, along with her great sense of humour will be missed by her children, Joyce Marcuccio (Gene), Pembroke; Sandra Mau, Cambridge; Bruce Mau (Aiyemobisi), Chicago; Debbie Mau (Jean-Claude Laplante), Walton; and Heather Mau-Tewfik (Peter), Cloverdale, B.C. Margaret was predeceased by her second husband Andre Lacroix and also shared her love with her step-children Monique Pilon (Tony), Sudbury; and Michael Lacroix, Kitchener. As a grandmother she will be greatly missed by Dawn, Angela, Patricia, Clifford, Philip, Osunkemi, Omalola, Adeshola, Andy, Emily, Ashley and Sarah. As one of seventeen children born to Giljam (George) and Apolonia Boudens, Margaret will be missed as a much loved sister to Kay Watt (late Lloyd), John (late Olive), Betty Burgess (late Harold), Hubert (Verena), August (Emily), William (Myra), Grace Lacombe (Lucien), Mary Selle (Leo) and George (Cathy). She was predeceased by her brothers Marinus, Maurice (late Astrid), Bernard (Georgette), Casey (late Stella), Peter and Leo, and one sister Johana. Margaret will also be missed by her sisters-in-law Dallas Boudens, Irene Mau (late Herbert) and brother-in-law Len Coburn (late Selma). Aunt Margaret will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate her love and life will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, 357 Miller Street, Pembroke on Wednesday July 23rd, 2008 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
