Margaret Emma King

KING, Margaret – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the age of 102 years.  

Margaret Emma King (nee Woito) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late William M. King. Dear mother of Janis Hebert (late Terrence), Pembroke. Proud grandmother of Michelle Hebert, Renfrew; Cherie Hebert, Brockville; Shane Hebert (Christina), Pembroke & Kelly Hebert (Dwayne), Pembroke. Dear great-grandmother of Devon, Dawson, Lindsey, Samantha, Cynthia, Kirsten (Jondavid), Rickell & Tristen. Survived by sister Edith Brumm (late Don), Pembroke & Raymond Woito (Joanna), Almonte. Predeceased by sisters Rose Estabrooks (late Warren), Eleanor Watt (late B.G), Esther Corrigan (late Ross) and brothers Harold Woito (late Marge) and infant Arnold Woito. Daughter of the late William & Caroline Woito (nee Melcher). Survived and missed by many nieces and nephews.  

Respecting Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Burial of the ashes in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
