COOPER, Margaret Thomasina (nee Reilley)
Passed away on Tuesday December 28th, 2004 in the North York General Hospital, Toronto at the age of 104 years.
Born in Ross Township, Margaret was the daughter of the late Robert and Letitia Reilley (nee Snowdon) and was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Irvine Colby Cooper in 1984. She is survived by her daughter Margaret L. Cooper, Toronto; her son John I. Cooper (Mary), Yarmouth, N.S.; grandchildren Michael Cooper, Yarmouth, N.S.; David Cooper, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret began her teaching career in Shady Nook and Pembroke, Ontario. She later returned to teaching in Montreal after raising her family. Margaret was very proud of her Ottawa Valley roots and the fact that her Irish ancestors immigrated to Canada in 1846 and established the Reilley Farm near Foresters Falls. She was a loving and gracious wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday January 3rd, 2005 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. officiated by Rev. Richard Hall. Spring interment in the Beachburg Union Cemetery. Family Flowers Only Please.
