COLLINS, Margaret (Past President and Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #72) - passed away gently and peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Monday, January 28, 2013 in her 85th year. Margaret Collins (nee Brown) of Pembroke, wife of the late Kenneth McLeod (Mac) Collins. Loving mother of Lynn Collins, Pembroke; David Collins (Mary-Lou), Pembroke; Heather Duffy (Michael), Ottawa; and Wayne Collins, Pembroke. Grandmother of Matthew Collins (Melanie Driscoll), Pembroke; Gavin Duffy (Jane), Vancouver; and Miranda Vanderfluit (Sean), Vancouver. Great-grandmother to Jack & Lilly Collins and Colin Vanderfluit. Sister of Stanley Brown (late Verna), Toronto. Predeceased by sisters Florence Schutt (late Harvey), Adeline Marquardt (late Christie) & Lenore Brown; and by brothers Wilfred Brown (Frances), Toronto; and Clarence Brown (late Grace). Daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Brown (nee Grahl). Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 2 to 4:00 & 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Wesley United Church, Pembroke on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Lodge Foundation or the Pembroke Regional Hospital MRI Fund would be appreciated.)
