Mabel Johnson

JOHNSON, Mabel Margarita (nee Warburton) - born in Spain in 1921 and passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on August 23, 2020. Mabel was a beloved mother and grandmother who over the years played an integral part in her church and community.

Mabel was predeceased by her husband Ernest Edward Johnson (Buster). She leaves behind eldest daughter Nancy (Mike), son Hugh (Suzanne) & daughter Janice (Zane); grandchildren Kelsey, Bradley, Kyle, Kieran & Jeremy; and great-grandchildren Natatlia, Abbie, Jack, Molly and Hunter.  Daughter of the late Arthur & Dorothy Warburton (nee Webb), and predeceased by brothers James & Hugh.  We are forever grateful for the love and care given to Mabel during her elderly years by Pat & Shirley and Miramichi Lodge.

Respecting Mabel’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A graveside memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, or the Alexandra Club (via PPDCF) would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
