BURNS, Mabel Elizabeth (R.N.) Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Sunday, November 26, 2006 in her 93rd year. Mabel Burns, resident of the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Cobden and formerly of Chamberlain Street, Pembroke, wife of the late Denzil Burns. Dear mother of Heather McCool (husband Michael), Ottawa. Gramma to Jennifer Delorey (husband Mike), Ottawa; and Sean McCool, Ottawa. Great-grandmother to Emma Charlotte Delorey. Daughter of the late John and Mabel Stewart (nee Barnard). Predeceased by sister Frances Stewart and brother Donald Stewart. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Cobden Union Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated). Members of the Order Of The Eastern Star are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for service Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.
