Lyla Holmes (nee Boyce) of Pembroke, wife of the late Robert "Bob" Holmes. Mother of Judy Halliday (Lorne), Pembroke; Maureen Molson (the late Dalton), Brooklin; and Robert C. "Bob" Holmes (Denise), Pembroke. Loving grandmother of Doug Halliday, Rodney Halliday (Jeanette) & Jeffrey Halliday (Corinne), all of Pembroke; Michael Molson (Krista), Dubai & Mindy Frame (Cameron), Brooklin; and Tristan Holmes (Joanna), Canmore AB & Ewen Holmes (Carol), Georgetown. Great-grandmother of Allison Halliday (Jamie McAuley); Mackenzie & Maitland Halliday; Madison & Dawson Halliday; Lily & Noah Molson; Kayleigh & Avery Frame; Dylan, Jack & Baby (due March 2017) Holmes; and Charlie & Simon Holmes. Daughter of the late Edward and Laura Boyce (nee Hamilton). Sister of Gerald "Chubby" Boyce (Joyce), Ottawa. Predeceased by siblings Hazel Bell, Eva Splaine, Mary Gelfand, Kenneth Boyce, Shirley Sylvester, Irene Black and Marjorie Carmichael. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Calvin United/First Presbyterian Cemetery, Pembroke.
