BRODOFSKI, Lura Pearl Passed away due to complications of leukemia at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in her 87th year. Lura Brodofski (nee Cairns) of Pembroke, loving wife of Emil Brodofski. Beloved mother of Philip Brodofski (Miriam), Maple Leaf; Pamela Connell (Kenneth), Petawawa; and Shelley Kalucki (Zygmunt), Pembroke. Grandmother to Angela Nigro (Vince), Laurie Anne Freymond (Brian), Cindy Lee Pataky (Sean), Tammy Lynne Vardy (Greg), and Andrew Brodofski. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Alexander and Annie Cairns (nee Jenkins). Predeceased by son Robert Brodofski, brothers Earl, William, Angus, and Donald and sisters Lillian Cairns and Florence Jenkins. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Tuesday from 7 to 9:00 p.m.; and at First Missionary Church on Wednesday from 10 -10:45 a.m. Funeral Service in First Missionary Church, Pembroke, on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Laurentian View Cemetery.
