Passed away at her home in Stittsville on Monday, January 26, 2009 in her 93rd year.
Louise Cochrane (nee Nienkirchen) formerly of Pembroke, wife of the late George H. Cochrane. Loving mother of Carole Bucholtz (husband Gordon), Pembroke; Sandra Cochrane, Toronto; Patricia Findley (husband Jim), Ottawa; and Brian Cochrane (wife Ruth), Stittsville. Grandmother to Malcolm (wife Jeanne) & Terry (wife Nancy) Bucholtz; Benjamin (wife Naomi), Jeffrey, David & Christopher Cochrane; and Karen Findley. Great grandmother of Robert and Hannah Cochrane. Daughter of the late Charles and Martha Nienkirchen (nee Panke). Predeceased by sisters Edna Splinter, Ada Stavenow, Laura Nienkirchen & Mary Weckworth; and brothers William, Sam, Wesley, Frank, Lorne & Gordon Nienkirchen. Survived by sisters-in-law Carrie Biesenthal & Kathleen Nienkirchen, both of Pembroke; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Friday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m.; and at First Missionary Church on Saturday from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Funeral Service in First Missionary Church, Pembroke, on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Spring Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.
