LOTTIE SAUNDERS

SAUNDERS, LOTTIE VIOLA Passed away peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke with her daughter Flora Schrie by her side on Sunday, May 28th, 2006 at the age of 95 years. Lottie Saunders (nee Evers), formerly of Almonte, wife of the late Richard Saunders and by first marriage the late Hilliard McGonegal. Lottie leaves to mourn her daughters Flora Schrie, Pembroke; Sonja Devost, Surrey, B.C.; son Rick Saunders, Ottawa; her youngest sister Charlotte Thurston, Almonte; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends. Lottie is predeceased by her daughter Dorothy Hotham and son Brian Saunders, parents George and Elizabeth Evers (nee Cochrane), sisters Vera Hoffman, Maggie Henry and brother Gordon Evers. Respecting Lottie's wishes, a Graveside Service will be held in the Old Kirk Cemetery, Almonte on Thursday, June 1st at 2 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Miramichi Lodge, 725 Pembroke St. W., Pembroke, Ontario K8A 8S6 would be appreciated).
