ALLARD, Lorraine Alfred Joseph "Lawrence" (Retired President of Allard Insurance & Real Estate) - passed away at Marianhill, Pembroke on Thursday, October 17, 2013 in his 96th year. Lawrence Allard of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Edith Clarke Kieley Allard. Mourned by his children Paul Allard (Charlene), Camille Madryga (Daniel) & Anne Lawless (Mark); and grandchildren Heather, Michael, Tricia, Matthew & Alexander Allard; Colleen Humphreys & Adam Kennedy; and Jennifer & Ian Lawless. Predeceased by son Barry Allard. Mourned as well by his step-children John Kieley (Barbara), Barbara Kieley (Kim Devooght) & Brian Kieley; and step-grandchildren Paddy, Jesse & Ryan Kieley; and Stephanie, Allison, Mick & Emily Delorme. Also survived by many great-grandchildren. Son of the late Abraham and Marie-Therese Allard (nee Lafrance). Predeceased by brother Arthur Allard (late Yvonne). Dear Uncle to their children and grandchildren. Lawrence was past president of the Kinsmen Club, and was a part of many local boards and community groups. He was an avid outdoorsman, a hunter and fisherman all his life; and enjoyed many hobbies, especially flying real and model airplanes. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday fom 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Zion United Church, McGregor's Hill, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mt. Zion United Cemetery, Barron Canyon Rd.
