Lois Habec

HABEC, Lois – peacefully passed away at her home with loving family by her side on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

Lois Habec (nee Teschner) of Petawawa, wife of the late Mike Habec.  Mother of Ken Habec (Kathy), Oshawa and Vida Habec, Petawawa.  Nanny to Jeff Habec (Emma), Morgan Roberts (Kyle) and Lindsey Hartling (Joe).  Great-Nanny to Jack, Tom & Abby; Ben & Claire; and Nate.  Daughter of the late William and Clara Teschner (nee Silkie).  Predeceased by siblings Ruth Paterson (late Robert), Conrad Teschner, Stanley Teschner (late Sonja) and Harris Teschner (Joan).  Beloved companion of dog Charlie.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 1-4:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 516 Airport Rd., Pembroke on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.  Spring interment in the parish cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Christ Lutheran Church or Carefor would be appreciated.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
