HEWITT, Lloyd Passed away after a valliant struggle in the Ottawa Civic Hospital, with his family by his side on Thursday, June 26, 2008 in his 89th year. Lloyd Hewitt of Rankin, beloved husband of 59 years of Jean Hewitt (nee Sadler). Dearly loved father of Noreen Hunka (Lloyd Gervais), Randy Hewitt (Evon Leech), and Terry Hewitt (wife Joanne), all of Pembroke. Grandfather of Natasha, Shawn, Jessica, Tanya & Anthony. Great-grandfather of Jade and baby Gabriel. Predeceased by brothers Elwin & Kenneth. Brother-in-law to Jimmy Sadler (wife Betty), Eganville. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Son of the late Jack & Mildred Hewitt (nee Stitt). Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Rankin. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 Pembroke are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m for a service.
