CASEY, Lloyd (Lifelong member of the Newmarket Veteran's Association and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72) Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke with family by his side on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in his 83rd year. Lloyd Casey of Pembroke, loving husband of Mae Casey (nee Arnold) and by first marriage the late June Casey (nee Murray). Father of Linda Cormier (Johnnie), NB; Gwen Mistlebaker (Richard), Mt. Albert; Greg Casey (June), Keswick; Janice Casey, AB; and Jeff Casey, Toronto. Grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Minerva Leblanc (Eugene); May, Diane & Ralph Casey all of NB. Predeceased by brothers Norman & Clarence and sisters Anita Melanson & Edwina Casey. Survived by sister-in-law Shirley Casey and brother-in-law Val Melanson. Predeceased by parents Alyre & Exelda Casey (nee Legeer). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Stepfather, grandfather & great-grandfather to Mae's family. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation. Interment of ashes in Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke at a later date.
