Lloyd Baycroft

BAYCROFT, Lloyd D. (Retired full-time firefighter of 30 years with CFB Petawawa Fire Department and a volunteer firefighter for the town of Petawawa for 14 years) - passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the age of 72 years. Lloyd Baycroft of Pembroke, loving husband of Paulette Baycroft (nee Leroux). Father of Darren Baycroft (Stéphanie), Ottawa and Derek Baycroft (Monica), Cobden. Step-father of Scott Gutzeit (Kym), Eganville and Shawn Gutzeit, Pembroke. Grandfather to Émilie; Devon, Justin & Joel; Cory & Melanie; and Georgia. Son of the late Dewitt Baycroft and the late Ella St. Cyr (nee Lloyd). Brother of Dwight Baycroft (Colleen), Niagra-on-the-Lake. Lloyd was sadly predeceased by his step-daughter-in-law Christina Gutzeit and granddaughter Holly. Words of remembrance and a celebration of Lloyd's life will be shared at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72, Pembroke on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. A private interment of ashes will take place in Forest View Cemetery, Chalk River. Arrangements are by the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home.
