SCHWAN, Lillian Agnes (Retired co-owner of Don Schwan's Building Supplies) Peacefully, with her family by her side, in hospital, Pembroke on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at the age of 73 years. Lillian Schwan (nee Antler) of 582 Boundary Rd., Pembroke, wife of the late Donald Schwan. Cherished and loved mother of Debra Farr (husband Kevin), Pembroke; and Derek Schwan (Sheri), Pembroke. Dearly loved Nanny to Allison and Brett Farr, and Taylor Proulx. Daughter of the late Carl and Ida Antler (nee Kuehl). Sister of Norman Antler (late Ethel), Pembroke; Doris Joudwa (late Maurice), Belleville; Garnet Antler (Madeline), Pembroke; Melba Hawkins (late Willis), Pembroke; Myrna Pilatzke (Mel), Pembroke; and Dwyla Doran (late Warren), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Harvey Antler; and sisters Rhoda Antler, Ellen Kierstead (late Russell), and Lois Gilbert (late George). Survived by sister-in-law Viola Antler, Pembroke; and many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Service in Zion Lutheran Church on Monday at 2 p.m. Spring interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
