ROEHRIG, Lillian Helene Passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer at the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital, Ottawa on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in her 74th year. Lillian Roehrig (nee Balys) of Pembroke, wife of the late Wilhelm Roehrig. Dear mother of Christopher Roehrig (Christina Pechloff), Mayne Island BC; Andrew Roehrig, Pembroke; and Lisa Roehrig (Ryan Hill), Ottawa. Brother of Edward (Anne) and Henry (Diane) Balys, both of Ottawa. Daughter of the late Vladas and Marta Balys. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A "casual attire" Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Ashes in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
