HOLTZ, Lester Edison Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday May 25, 2008 in his 82nd year. Lester Holtz of Pembroke, husband of Florence Holtz (nee Pilatzke), and by first marriage the late Doris Holtz (nee Schonnop). Dear father of Blake Holtz, Palmer Rapids; and step-father of Mark Soike (Heather), Kingston. Grandfather of Amanda & Brandon Holtz. Brother of Loella Bartlett (Roy), Windsor; Welden Holtz (Verla), Pembroke; and Carson Holtz (Verena), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Urban, Mahlon, Wilbert, Newton, Norman, & Eldad, and sister Ida Cotie. Survived by sisters-in-law Margaret (Scottie) Holtz, Pembroke; Beatrice Grahl (Edgar), Pembroke; Gerda Marquardt (late Leslie), Eganville; and Linda Gauthier (late George), Deep River; and brother-in-law Allen Pilatzke (Garda), Pembroke. Son of the late William and Mary Holtz (nee Nienkirchen). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
