ZEITZ, Leigh Albert Passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, February 23, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Leigh Zeitz of 784 Lakeview Ave., Pembroke dearly loved husband of Margaret (Betty) Zeitz (nee Koskela). Dear father of Mary Beth Stewart, Westmeath; Ardes Cooper (Ted), Lake Clear; and Heather Bovair (Ken), Round Lake Centre. Cherished and proud papa to Kara, Tyler and Kelsey; Emma and Elliot; and Rhianna. Son of the late Roland and Ethel Zeitz (nee Mercer) of Cardiff, Ontario. Dearly loved brother of Dorothy Hafner (late Jim), Hawaii; Robert (Bob) Zeitz (Daphne), Duncan, B.C.; and Bud Zeitz (Renie), St. Albert, Alberta. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley Ann Honkala (Frank), Cynthia Miller (late Daniel), Beegu Keranen (James), Albert Koskela (Margaret), Pearl Loukus (Eddie), and Enid Pennala (Paul). Predeceased by sister-in-law Arlene Naasko (late Harold). Uncle Leigh will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
