Lawrence Wasmund

Wasmund, Lawrence Frank (Jim) Passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, surrounded by family on Tuesday April 14th 2015 in his 97th year. Jim Wasmund, life long lumberman, loving husband for 56 years of the late Hazel Louise Wasmund (nee Krieger) year 2000. Dear father of Brenda Lundy (Brent) and Steven (Viki) both of Pembroke. Cherished grandfather of Erin Lundy (companion John Archer), Coburg and Jennifer Wasmund, Petawawa. Proud great-grandfather of John Charles Archer and Steven and William Wasmund Merry. Son of the late William and Amanda (Mantifel) Wasmund. Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Stanley (Flora), Wilfred (Beth), Rueben (Bella), and Gordon (Grace). Also predeceased by sisters and brothers-in-law Charlotte Budarick (Sam), Laura Job (Joe), and Alice Leblanc (Alfred). Uncle Jim will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment in Calvin United & First Presbyterian Cemetery.
