Larry THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Larry Ralph Peacefully at his home on Saturday April 2, 2005 at the age of 51 years. Larry Thompson of Pembroke, loving husband of Karen Thompson (nee Acorn), and father to Jason, Jared and Brianna. Dear son of Ralph and Ruth Thompson of Spring Brook, Ontario. Beloved brother of Helen Anne Acorn (Lloyd) of Spring Brook, special uncle of Jeff, Scarborough, Angie, Fredericton, Steven, Spring Brook, and Scott, Fredericton. Son-in-law of Art Acorn, Marmora. Brother-in-law of Calvin Acorn (Mildred), Belleville; Harold Acorn (Linda), Scarborough; Glenn Acorn (Cathy), Havelock; Dayle Acorn (Marlene), Mississauga; and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry worked for Ontario Hydro in the Cobden Area Office as Area Office Supervisor, in Bracebridge as a CARE team supervisor, and the Ontario Hydro Call Centre in Markham. Larry enjoyed fishing and baseball, and was a most avid fan of his children in hockey, ringette and soccer. Larry cherished family and friends most of all, and held them above all else. He has enriched the lives of all who have known him and will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wedneday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; then to the McConnell Funeral Home, 9 Bursthall Street, Marmora for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Spring interment in the Mont Nebo Cemetery, Spring Brook.
