HOFSTEE, Lt. Cmdr. KlaasSjoerd (Nick) -U.S. Navy (Retired) Sailed his last ocean with Jesus as his pilot reached safehaven on Sunday November 28th, 2004 in his 75th year with his beloved wife Sylvia by his side. Loving father of Erna Brien (Ron), Barrie; Lynda Mencel, Mt. Brydges; and Nicholas Hofstee, Hamilton. Respected stepfather of Kevin Arnold (Cathy), Halifax; Philip Arnold (Shirley) and Alan Arnold (Joy), all of Western Australia. Predeceased by his parents Fredrik and Johanna Hofstee, and brother Johanes. Survived by brothers Frits (Frances), Karel (Sharron), and Sylvia Alberts (Frank), all of Western Australia. Loving Opa to eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nick was a member of Unit 19 Korean Veterans of Sudbury. In accordance with Nick's wishes, there will be no visitation.
