JOHNS, Kenneth Alexander (World War 2 Veteran, Royal Canadian Navy) Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Ken Johns of Pembroke, husband of Elizabeth Johns (nee Campbell). Dear father of Paul Johns (wife Anne), Whitby; Joel Johns, Petawawa; Kenneth N. Johns (wife Anita), Petawawa; and Eliza Andersen (husband Henrik), Petawawa. Grandpa Johns to Graham and Michael Johns; Adam Johns; Erin and Braden Johns; Henrik, Travis and Nielsen Andersen. Son of the late Frederick and Hazel Johns (nee Frood). Brother of Norah Goretzki (husband Robert), Thunder Bay; and Lloyd Johns (wife Marion), Kanata. Predeceased by sister Melba Corcoran. A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held in Hamilton Hall, 148 Renfrew Street, Pembroke (directly across from the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home) on Saturday, January 23rd from 2 to 4 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated).
